“One of Terengganu’s beautiful mosques, the Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, which is also referred to as the Floating Mosque (Masjid Terapung), draws in not only local residents, but also visitors who stop by in their journey to perform their prayers.”
Next year (May 2012) I am travelling to a remote island, offshore of mainland Terengganu in Malaysia to do some volunteer work for ‘The Great Projects’.(http://www.thegreatprojects.com/)
I will be learning about the conservation of the endangered species of turtle living in the island and also visit surrounding schools to express the devastating effects of egg poaching. I will also get the chance to learn how to scuba dive!
